Live in London is a live album from Deep Purple. It was recorded on 22 May 1974 at Kilburn State Gaumont by the BBC for radio broadcast, but was unreleased on vinyl until 1982. It features the Mk 3 lineup of Blackmore/Coverdale/Hughes/Lord/Paice during the tour for their album Burn. Actually the announcer said: "This band's been called the loudest band in the world... They didn't say they're the BEST band in the world! Put your hands together please, burn with Deep Purple!" - But somebody thought he was diminishing the band, thought it's obvious that this is a huge homage to the band.
